With over 12 years working as a UX/UI designer, I've been fortunate to turn this passion of mine into a job where I get to help companies solve problems through design.

Projects
Mediahuis
From 2022 tot 2025 I worked as interim UX/UI designer at Mediahuis Noord. Working on projects like the news websites of Dagblad van het Noorden, Leeuwarder Courant and Sikkom, but also the app design and development of multiple design systems.
Another big project that I got to work on was a nationwide new sign-up flow, which is used by newspapers like De Telegraaf, De Limburger and DVHN.
Hextree.io
I was involved with Berlin-based ethical hacking platform Hextree.io from the start, helping out with UX challenges, branding and tone of voice. Major projects include the design of the entire platform, landing page and the design system.
HackerOne
San Francisco and Groningen-based bug bounty platform HackerOne hired me as UX/UI designer back in 2017. During that time I worked on some big projects, of which my favourite was the complete redesign of the design language and the building of their new design system in Figma.
Catawiki
Back in 2014 I started working as an in-house UX/UI designer for Amsterdam and Assen-based auction platform Catawiki. As one of the first designers on the team, I helped to create their design system. After going freelance, I have helped out with landing page designs.
uGrow
Personal development platform uGrow was started by VIPD to make it easier to do personal assessments by yourself.
I was asked to create their branding, design language and the UX/UI of the platform and landing page.
Ownrs
Landing page and platform design for Danish real estate platform Ownrs. Their goal was to make it easier to start investing in real estate. This translated into a design that is intuitive and easy to use.
Zeker Van De Pil
Besides the design of the webshop, landing page and design system, I was also involved with dozens of A/B tests for healthcare e-commerce website Zeker van de Pil. By implementing these winning versions, we achieved a massive growth in sales.
PDC
Dashboard design for personal development platform PDC, powered by VIPD.
Meds.nl
Landing page design for Dutch online apothecary Meds.nl.
Re/view
Concept design for Re/view, a comparision platform. The goal was to make it easy to read reviews, share experiences and make decisions based on other users reviews.
